I’ve been long-listed for the Winchester Poetry Festival prize https://www.winchesterpoetryfestival.org/2021-longlist; results to be announced on Saturday 9 October.
I have a new poetry collection, Days of Wonder, created in collaboration with artist Rebecca Swainston during the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic and launched on 6 October with a reading: Click here to register free on EventBrite and for more information visit http://hippocrates-poetry.org/poems-to-live-for-live-2/6-october-2021-poems-to.html
I have a full collection due out next February from Two Rivers Press: https://tworiverspress.com/shop/this-thing-of-blood-love/
I’m thrilled to have been invited to be a tutor on Peter Pegnall’s residential writing course in Silves, southern Portugal, next May – watch this space for more details.
I was honoured to be the judge of the open poetry section of the Bedford Competition 2020, for which the anthology is now available. All net proceeds from sales of the anthology go to Schoolreaders, a charity that helps children catch up with their reading and The King’s Arms Project that supports the homeless. Copies can be obtained from www.ostrichbooks.co.uk. This year’s competition can be entered here until 31 October: https://bedfordwritingcompetition.co.uk/
